简介： The disappearance of Sir Julius Hanbury - and the theft of several of his erotic paintings - provide a new puzzle for Morse to solve. Assisted by DS Lewis, Morse interviews everyone at Hanbury House and it is in the course of searching the grounds that he finds Sir Julius' body, appropriately enough, in the family mausoleum. The pathologist notes that he was the victim of a frenzied attack but the lack of blood at scene leaves the police to conclude that he murdered elsewhere. Sir Julius was a candidate to become the Master of an Oxford college and was known to have a have had a bitter rivalry with another candidate for the position. When Roger Meadows, a friend of the Hanbury's au pair, is killed in a car accident, Morse concludes that that he too was murdered. Jealousy, revenge and greed all play part in the deaths.

简介： 《星际迷航:下一代》(简称TNG)是《星际迷航》系列的第2部剧集，台湾翻译为《银河飞龙》，于1987-1994年共播出了7季。该剧讲述的是在24世纪，《星际迷航:原初系列》(简称TOS)的八十年后，Picard舰长率领企业号D继续探索太空的冒险故事。 每一集的开头都有这样一段话：「宇宙，人类最后的边疆，这是星舰企业号的旅程，它所持续的使命，是为了探索陌生的新世界，寻找新的生命及新的文明，勇敢地航向那前所未至的宇宙洪荒。」 这段话和「原初系列」的版本并没有太大的差别，为了更强调银河中有许多不同的人种，「man」也改成了用 one 代替，不光指地球人类。 由于电影第四集「抢救未来」最后出现了企业号A (NCC-1701-A)，「TNG」的企业号编号改为现在大家熟悉的 NCC-1701-D，一直到现在，只有企业号的编号是维持不变，后面再挂上字母的，这是企业号的特权，其它星舰在不同时代即使有重复的名称，也不会有相同的编号。 星舰企业号D的舰长是Jean-Luc Picard，副舰长是William Riker，制片人Gene Roddenberry希望由女性来担任安全官以表示未来男女平等，Tasha Yar的角色诞生，后来又加入两个女性角色，顾问 Deanna Troi和医官 Beverly Crusher，另外还有一个天才少年Wesley Crusher。为了纪念一位美国众所皆知于 1975 年过逝的眼盲星舰迷George La Forge，Gene Roddenberry创造出一个眼盲的角色－－ Geordi La Forge。接下来是一个生化人的角色－－ Data，他是企业号的科学官。 最后一个角色 Worf，作为一名克林贡人加入了星际联邦代表着昔日的敌人已成为今日的盟友，在冷战时代是个很有意义的角色。

简介： 织田信长被明智光秀刺杀身亡数年后，伺候他的利休当上了信长的继承者丰臣秀吉的茶道首领。利休通过茶水的魅力，笼络了全国的武将，并尽其奢侈，营造了茶道最高府第，京都待庵。即侍候丰臣秀吉的主持僧侣的行宫。构筑了一个利休自己的世界。可是，美梦不长，自石田三成的势力增强以后，秀吉和利休的关系开始出现了激烈的矛盾。起初，利休心爱的徒弟宗二，因冒犯秀吉，被赶出行宫，杀了头。接着，石田三成向秀吉进谗言说“利休对出征朝鲜抱有怀疑”。正巧这时，利休在茶室见到秀吉，不慎谈到出兵朝鲜的事，更加激怒了秀吉。秀吉终于下了一道命令，令利休退出京都，并将他禁闭于大庭院。丰臣秀吉的妻子北政所给利休的妻子利木写了封信，说是利休如果肯认错，她想去乞求秀吉原谅利休。可是，利木的回信只是郑重其事地表示了感谢之外，没说别的事。丰臣秀吉见此信更加生气，命令利休剖腹谢罪。

简介： This is an unusual film of exceptional values--75 minutes long in color, with hardly any spoken dialogs. I saw this Iranian film in Farsi without English subtitles at the Early Iranian cinema retrospective on-going International Film Festival of Kerala, India. That I was watching a print without subtitles did not make a difference as there were very few lines of spoken dialogs. This is a very accessible film for any audience to enjoy--its story and values are not merely Iranian, it's universal. The film is set in rural Iran that had not tasted petro-dollar prosperity. The setting is on fringes of desert land, where water is scarce, rainfall scanty and hardly any blade of grass is green. Add to it wind and dust that buffets and whips man and animal and you can imagine plight of the people who live on the fringes of society. The film is moving tale of a young teenager returning to his village with a goat--only to find his family and villagers have moved on to escape natures vagaries and that one old man remains. He gives the goat to him and goes in search of his family. Water is scarce and well water it treated with reverence and never wasted.
